Our Commitment
This website aims to keep its guides accurate and current, based on the primary sources listed in each guide's “Sources & Further Reading” section. Despite that effort, family-law procedures, court fees, forms, and guideline figures are set by regulation and change over time, and errors are possible.
How to Report a Possible Error
If you believe a page contains outdated or inaccurate information, please use the Contact page and include:
- The URL of the page in question
- The specific statement you believe is incorrect or outdated
- Where possible, a link to a current, authoritative source
What Happens Next
Reports are reviewed against the primary source for that page. Where a correction is warranted, the page is updated. This site does not promise a specific turnaround time for every report, but genuine accuracy issues are treated as a priority.
This Doesn't Replace Legal Advice
Even a fully corrected, up-to-date guide is still general information, not advice about your specific situation. If a decision matters to you, confirm the current rule directly with a primary source, or speak with a licensed Ontario family lawyer.
